A bit about me

A snapshot of the interests that shape how I live and work in Toronto

Running

Running keeps me grounded and disciplined. It’s also the best way for me to stay connected to what’s happening on the streets of Toronto. I ran competitively in high school, took five years off, and getting back into it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. You’ll find me at most major Toronto races, you probably won’t catch me though.

City Building & Advocacy

I care deeply about how Toronto grows. I love this city and plan on being here for life. I spend a lot of time following conversations not just about housing, but about everything that shapes neighbourhoods and the people who call them home. I’m also actively involved in the political world through my work on TRREB’s Government Relations Committee.

Driving a Vanderhall in Malibu. Surprisingly fun for an automatic.

Cars

I’ve always loved cars. I grew up racing and I’ve only ever owned manual transmission cars. I still head to the track now and then just for fun and to keep my skills sharp. That said, I’m also a big believer in smart city planning and strong transit and cycling infrastructure. I rarely drive downtown when it’s busy, it’s usually faster to walk

Cooking

Cooking is another way I unwind. On busy days I usually pull together something good in under 30 minutes, but I also love slowing down when I have time, making something special, and having friends over to share it.

Eating Out

Toronto’s food scene is one of the best parts of living here. I love discovering new spots around the city, but I’m just as happy returning to a few long-time favourites.

Style

I appreciate good design and a well-made suit. My favourite sartoria is Stile Latino, they’re unmatched and have a look that perfectly fits my taste
